This is something I didn't know I needed until I found it on Amazon. I didn't actually know there was a way to test my AA and AAA batteries. I have so many laying around that I'm afraid to use because I don't know how much juice they have in them. This works well. You just insert it and clamp it down and it will give you a reading. I tested several batteries and it gave pretty consistent readings on the same batteries from one moment to the next, which gave me confidence that this is pretty accurate.It's small and kind of cheap feeling. It's very light. It came in minimal packaging. That said, at the price they're charging, it works as expected and I don't see how you can go wrong.
