My flashlight is Beaming with brightness with these new alkaline batteries.We have really high unemployment right now, and for the foreseeable future -- I needed batteries for the Gopher "Sonic Spikes", so I looked for batteries made in the U.S. of A. -- and to my surprise, I found that: Phillips batteries are made in China. Energizers are made in Japan. CVS (store brand-CVS Pharmacies) are made in China. Duracell and RAY-O-VAC are made in the USA. I remembered that my Daddy had a RAY-O-VAC Flashlight he swore by, and I've had excellent results with RAY-O-VAC products in the past, so I opted for the made-in-the-USA RAY-O-VACs. They arrived undamaged in their handy 12-pack cases, and I checked each battery for proper voltage. Voltages over 24 batteries varied from 1.628 to 1.631 -- excellent consistency, which indicates a well-made, reliable product. Amazon's low price and free delivery was cheaper and easier than driving 1.2 miles to the Wallymart. Thanks, Amazon, and thank you, RAY-O-VAC, for keeping America strong by hiring American workers !! UPDATE: February 23,2012: Those batteries have been in service every day for several months, and are still going strong. They were exposed to outside temperatures from 30 degrees F to 117 degrees F without a single battery going dead. They've proven to be "the good stuff" -- made right here in the US of A !! UPDATE #2: November 15,2012: Finally replaced the batteries in the Gopher Spikes -- They ran 24/7 for 17 months -- and STILL had about 1 volt left in each battery. I also used these batteries in a MAG-LITE 3-Cell Flashlight with an LED Bulb -- AWESOME power and a bright-white beam that really penetrates the darkness !! Highly Recommended !!Bought these for low draw Lutron shades. they are holding up wonderfully. will use these any time i need batteries for this type of purpose.Recently put them in some holiday wreaths and they are doing great in those as wellThese batteries last a long time the ones I replaced were the same brand and lasted 4 years in the light that I installed them in. The battery was actually still working but the light was dim so I knew it was time to change out.I bought these batteries in conjunction with some Mr. Beems motion senser lights I bought to be placed out at a back garage which has no yard light. It stated that it was important to start with full charged batteries of good quality. They worked just fine from the start and seem to continue working as they should. It has only been a month, so it is hard to say how long they will last. I was told by my audiologist that batteries have changed a lot in the last year or two and don't always hold their voltage as the old lead or mercury batteries did. It remains to be seen how they will last in rather sensitive lights. The good thing about the newer Alkaline batteries is that they are not made from toxic substances anymore and can be just disposed of in a landfill. This is not true of some of the other batteries such as rechargeable's.GoodArrived within days of ordering. Appropriately packaged. Have not used them long enough to know if they will provide many hours of use or not yet. Put them in Luminara candles that I had ordered - so, when one goes out they should all go out - if they are fully charged. All candles lit up - so no dead batteries - and I used all twelve of them.Ordered another brand 6 months ago and put them in two different candles at the same time. One candle stopped turning on after 3 months of casual use and the other, larger candle is still going when I turn it on. I'm hoping this brand will be better than the other famous brand I ordered from a different retailer on Amazon.There is nothing to hate. I love buying the batteries this way. I am stocking up on my bad weather supplies. Batteries are a very important to have for the flashlights, fans and any other supply. It is a better price this way.Me gustaron mucho las pilas, se nota en seguida la potencia, la usé para un aparato que da de comer a mis perros y con las pilas que anteriormente tenía daba menos comida a mis perros, y además el reloj se desfasaba, con estas pilas da la comida correcta a mis perros, me gusta que tiene garantía de guardar la energía por 10 años en vez de otros productos que solo te dan 3 años, normalmente los aparatos que usan este tipo de pilas se les cambia una vez cada seis meses o al año, por lo que me parecen excelentes pilas para este tipo de usos.Vi que tenian muy buenas reseñas respecto a durabilidad solo que en mi caso no duro mucho. Las use para el columpio de mi bebe las Energizer me duraron 3 semanas y con un sos 3 a 4 horas diario. Y con estas baterias solo una semana y al tercer día el clupio ya no tenia la misma potencia. Le doy 3 estrellas porque al principio si hizo su trabajo, el precio es accesible, llego rápido y en buenas condiciones. Pero en mi caso no hubo durabilidad que lo más importantesEl precio del paquete es realmente bueno, las baterías en si las uso en unas maglite led 3D la cual con alcalinas da mas de 80hrs, por lo que con este paquete tengo para varios años, muy útil para tenerlas de reserva en caso de algún desastre naturalcumple plenamente con lo que es su propósito, son económicas y duran el mismo tiempo que la del conejo, yo las empleo para mis calentadores de agua llamado de paso, la batería enciende la chispa que inicia la ignición.Got a pack of these for some Mr. Beam outdoor LED lights and they've been working well so far. I still have half a pack left, so I'll see how well they a) perform in the installed outdoor lights in the winter b) preserve their capacity while not in use
