These are the same kind of 9V batteries that came with my schlage keypad deadbolt. If Schlage (a premium brand) ships their product with these, I'm sure it'll be fine for my usage. I actually opened my deadbolt 6 years after I bought it so the battery that came with it 'expired' 2-3 years ago. I popped it in and it still worked. I've since replaced it with this newer one I bought from Amazon, but the longevity is impressive to say the least.All pros (good value, good longevity, trusted brand by other trusted brands), no cons (except maybe there are waaaay too many in a box for a normal small household), easy 5 stars.Bought these in June 2015.Now September 2022.7 years in a drawer and five left in the box. Two at 8v, 3 at 5v.Don't know when they hit the wall, but the wall they did hit.Batteries are fine. Quality of batteries is fine. Box of batteries shipped in a barely padded envelope resulting in a squished and broken box with batteries jostling around loose in the envelope.Needed to replace a dozen smoke detector batteries and these are perfect.PRO’s:- Eleven of 12 batteries tested at 9.73 Volts (I did not test the one that went into a beeping detector at 4AM this morning - why do the old ones ALWAYS fail in the middle of the night?!?)- Duracell brand (Procell is the “For Profession Use Only” version)- Total cost was only $1.60 per battery- Bulk packaging is SO MUCH easier than blister packs, I like the plastic terminal covers- Purchased July 2022, Shelf Life Date on Batteries Mar 2027 (close to 5 Years)CON’s:- Made in China (I’ve been trying to boycott that, too bad it’s not possible…)NEUTRAL’s:- Warranty is not usable for retail users (fine by me)- I don’t have any load testing data, but these worked fine in my detectors and I trust the Duracell brand- These are labeled for “Low Drain Devices” (again, fine by me)Overall: 5 Stars.Fit perfect, seem like good batteries, although I haven't had them in very long yet to verify how long they'll last. Made by Duracell, so guessing they will be a quality battery.This ProCell 9VDC works great and has a good life. Problem is that this 12 pack was shipped with another item in a plastic bag and the Procell packaging was shredded. Even tho the cells have a protective, snap on protector the condition of the cell packaging shows me that these snap on protectors could easily be popped off during shipment. This condition, even tho a low probability, could cause a short between cells and create an unwanted situation. I recommend a review and testing of the ProCell 9VDC packaging.We've used Amazon basic AAA and AA batteries with great success. However we used thier 9v in a timer and it just didn't last. It's fine in the smoke alarm (we test regularly like you should) but in something like a well used (4 timers) kitchen timer it dies in a month. So we got these and they last much longer (2-3 months easy) I guess it's both the size and use that determines which brand you need.A longer stronger battery life. The 9v batteries are great for those celling fire Alarms. Put the date of install on them, you will be surprised.Measured the voltage on all the batteries upon arrival. All were 9.6V (good), but one was 0.17V (bad). Not worth the hassle of returning, but not satisfied with the product. I expect 12 out of 12 to be good from Duracell, not 11 out of 12. Packaging and exterior is in perfect shape. Battery marked GB13 G107 17 on the underside and best before Mar 2021 (this is 2017). Good thing I checked it before putting it in my smoke detector.Came across these batteries by accident and thought I would take a chance. Well the price was excellent but to my surprise so was the batteries.
