This stand is surprisingly well made and convenient. We were looking for something relatively inexpensive to use as a coatrack in a short-term rental and gave this a try. We put it inside the front door of our apartment and it is perfect for holding jackets, shoes, backpacks, and other things coming in and going out the front door. It was a bit of a challenge to put together, but it appears to be sturdy and well made. My only gripe is that the top bar is not particularly useful -- A shelf on top would provide another useful surface, but the bar as designed doesn't have much functionality. Nonetheless, for the price, this is a nice addition to our apartment.
