After 1 week I noticed rust on the bottoms. I painted over them, needs to be done about once a month. I will also need to purchase better clamps. I plan to use these temporarily during the summer for my kayak, ladders, etc. But I do not think they will be good during the winter in NJ.Easy to install and a fantastic deal for the price. Works perfectly with the rail system on my 2020 Tacoma. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because there's rust draining down through the welds at the base.I'd buy it again if I needed to.I installed this 24"rack on a 2018 GMC sierra 1500. This rack is universal. *ISSUE: THE CLAMPS PROVIDED are Not Compatible with my truck. The manufacturer should take this into consideration and give optional clamps. The clamps provided are for t slotted trucks. I purchased this rack so i wont have to drill into my truck. But with the frustration of the clamps not Compatible. I drilled into my truck. The paint job. It is TOO EASY to scratch the paint. By the time i finished installing. It looked used. Make sure you have black spray paint nearby. Was a little pain to install but i think its because i was already frustrated with having to drill. Overall. Good rack. I am happy with it. Lucky im handy with tools. Hope this helped someone else who decides to buy.Overall it’s a good rack, it’ll do it’s job. I have a 2007 Silverado and the clamps it comes with does not fit the bed. So I had to use some old ones that I had laying around. Another note is the set screws it comes with They will come out easily make sure to loctite them!!! Shipped quickly and was in good condition. For the price it’s a nice rack would recommend.I didn't read the reviews in detail. The rack is fine. The clamps are worthless. They don't work on a 2019 SilveradoThis ladder rack was easy to install on my 06 Tundra though the clamps provided were too short so I had to drill and bolt it. Set screws provided are already rusting but I can grease them so they don't freeze up. Good price.Just what I needed .The clamps are specific to a certain track system that is Toyota if I remember correctly.
