I tried doing a more witty post about these batteries and amazon denied it. In short These batteries are great value, low cost, and because prices like to go lower here and there for a short time you might be able to get this cheaper then you would at local shops. Its sad my first review was denied. I was a lot more comical and not offensive, there isn't much to say about batteries.If you want a lot of batteries, you know are good quality at a cheap affordable price. This pack is what you want. I also recommend Rayovac rechargeable NIMH if your looking for Rechargables. Rayovac makes Good batteries, I've used their brand for years.I have never had a problem with Rayovac batteries. They are reliable and just work. I normally find them at Wally World, but bought them here on Amazon as a convenience. If you can find them on sale, you may find a better deal at a brick and mortar store. However, by the time you spend your gas to and from the store, the deals here on Amazon are usually just as good if not better. Put the items in your cart and wait for them to come on sale!I find that the price per performance on Rayovac batteries is the best around. I recommend them.For those who have asked, yes, this is a regular retail package.Royovac,Duracell, and Eveready,the top 3 selling brands, were recently reviewed by the leading consumer magazine. The conclusion of this testing was that there was such a small difference in the 3 they weren't able to rank them. Their results of the study, was that since all 3 were equal, look for the best price. In almost every case Rayovac is the least expensive of the major brands. Based on the study, this is the brand we always get, and have never been disappointed.I have been using these batteries for several years now in many different applications with great success. I have not noticed any change in battery life. For the money they are hard to beat! I have read several negative reviews concerning leaking alkaline batteries. ANY battery left for extended periods of time or exposed to the elements are prone to such. Don't think you can go wrong with these! Highly Recommend!!So far they seem to last comparable to other brands I've used. Just the idea of not having to scrounge in the drawer for a single loose battery was enough to get me to buy in bulk. Good job Rayovac!Too soon to tell about the life of these batteries. They came in a sealed package and appear to be of high quality. In the past rayovac were the battery of choice due to the steel jacket which prevented leakage . Now they are all made that way so long life is the deciding factor . Time will tell .Best price around. NEW with expiration dates several years out! Rayovac batteries are great. Recently had need to use their leak damage guarantee. It took a while but upon returning an LED lantern with the offending batteries, they sent me new batteries and a check for the lantern. Rayovac second to none and made in U.S.A.They're batteries and I needed to fill an order. They are cheaper than others, but are made in the U.S. and seem to last just as long.
