Bought this “used-good condition” from amazon. I received it in as-new condition with open package but missing one battery. My guess is that someone got frustrated with the ten-tap and returned it. Overall great purchase, great price. If I found three more on sale, I’d buy them all.Brightness excellent. Comparable to a 700 lumen light from another vendor. The hotspot is bright white, the spill is slightly more yellow green from the emitter. This is not noticeable on its own, but when compared to true white lights, it is just slightly off.Hotspot from 10 feet away is about 8 inches. There is a secondary (slightly yellow) ring spanning 3 feet, spill is 8.5-9 feet across. This isn’t a close quarters defensive light, but it could work. I’d recommend the standard head diameter for close-up work.I can easily light up a hillside and tufts of grass at the top of a hill roughly 60 feet away.I haven’t used it at longer distance, but it’s a better thrower than my G2X Pro, and great for a rifle.Construction is excellent. Removable pocket clip. Material feels similar to a G2 Nitrolon body, although slightly harder feeling.Ten Tap was a pain at first, but after watching a YouTube video, it became second nature.I would buy again. If deciding between this and a surefire G2X Tactical at the same price, I’d probably go with the surefire. Ten tap is nice, but I don’t need strobe, or a low setting. Surefire beam characteristics are better for up-close work. G2s have a textured reflector and aluminum head, and the beam color is slightly warmer. You won’t go wrong with either one. This is easily the brightest flashlight I've ever owned, but there are other aspects which I really like which I will mention. First, the quality of build is very good and will never be an issue. The button on the back has two modes: push it in all the way to "click" the light on, or slightly push in the button for momentary light and release to make the light turn off.The body width is your standard 1" which is perfect for firearm mounts. The head is a little wider than most tactical flashlights but this is a plus, and it doesn't effect the ability to be mounted on a weapon.I currently have this light mounted on a 12 gauge shotgun with the Elzetta mount. Fits perfectly. As for the performance of the light; it is basically two lights in one: The large diameter beam that floods the entire area, and the focused "spot light" in the center. This spot light is blinding. You can't see the person shining it at you, let alone if it's on a shotgun or not. That doesn't mean an intruder can't just fire indiscriminately at the light, but if you get into a fire fight, you have bigger problems than a flashlight. The beam travels far, and acts as a "psuedo-laser sight" for a shotgun. Personally, I don't believe in having a real laser sight on shotguns, just because the nature/range of the weapon renders it useless, especially with buckshot, but with a really bright, focused spot light fixed on your target, it makes for a great tool that gives you a big tactical advantage. To give you an example of the light. I can shine it on my neighbor's house across the street at night, and the whole front yard will light up with the wide light, while the "spot light" will be about the size of a bedroom window. Imagine unloading some OO shot in there if needed. And you can see the entire beam, not just it's ending location. But this might be due to the humidity in the air. I assume dryer air makes less of a beam.I would obviously recommend this light for tactical shotguns, police, firemen, paramedics, outdoorsmen like hunters/fishermen/hikers, even lifeguards. Basically anything outdoors, or on a weapon. The light is kind of overkill for a standard light needed around the house if the power goes out (and a little expensive for this use as well). I can't really think of any cons with this light. It's built well and does its job well.If anybody uses this light around water, I'd be interested in seeing how deep the light can penetrate through the water.I'm not a flashlight "expert" or collecter at all but I do appreciate the value and usefulness of having one available. I am a paramedic and work mostly nights. As you can imagine its can be really difficult to work in a night time setting. Some people don't always leave their lights on in their houses and finding a switch can be a challenge, and working on the scene of an accident with low light quality is even more difficult. Also scanning for threats and other dangers is a constant must. Having this flashlight has made my job just that much easier. I've needed to use it countless time in just the past 2 weeks since I've gotten it and it has been a great help. First off I was a little skeptical of the material it was made of but soon became comfortable with its dependability. Dropped several times and hasn't cracked, scuffed, scratched, or stopped working yet. The lens is durable and won't scratch easily. And the brightness!!! Yeah this thing will light up an entire street! And I'm not joking I've actually done it. This is the newer model that is being advertised. So though it says 150 lumens it's actually 275. I have no way of measuring this other than what the packaging says. It has 3 modes: high, strobe, and low (15 lumens), and has the "Ten Tap Programming" option. It's definitely blinding, so if you ever need to identify a person that my be threatening it will give you and advantage for sure. Overall this is an excellent light and will work consistently. Brightens up a room, car, street etc. effortlessly. Go ahead and buy it you won't regret it.金属製の物と違い、軽く耐久性も良い。電池はシュアファイア製の物を併用しています。
