The PROCOOL S2480XT fan speed increases and decreases with the temperature. Each fan has a Thermistor Probe that will automatically start and adjust the fan speed from low to high speed. The location of the probe controls the performance of the system. Position the probe at the heat source for more airflow or farther away from the heat source for less airflow. With a noise level of only 17dBA at top speed, the S2480XT is the quietest 2U model with the highest airflow. The Multi fan Temperature controller will turn the system on and off at your desired temperatures. Set the controller start and stop temps. When the start temp is reached the controller will start the fans. The fans will then regulate their speed as needed until the stop temperature is reached and then the fans will shut off until needed again.
